X I N I N G, Qinghai Province
  

Xining, the capital of Qinghai province, is largely an ugly, industrial town full of 1950s style communist appartment blocks. However, when attending a development training in December 2002, I discovered some of Xining's more attractive parts. (view map of Qinghai)
