T H E  G R E A T  W A L L  

We visited the Great Wall (the one closer to Tianjin, not Beijing) with my language university in October 2001. The late autumn weather creates a beautifully melancholic atmosphere, and the length and steepness of the wall is truly astonishing. Climbing it cost us a lot of energy and my leg muscles hurt for at least two days, but it was more than worth it! (no comments under the photos, since no comment is needed).
